Alanna Zeris, a junior finance major from Philadelphia, sports a Free People striped shirt and pants on a warm November day. She pairs the two-piece with pink Free People cork wedges, Gucci sunglasses and a choker from Urban Outfitters.

Zeris buys most of her clothing from Free People, and follows one rule when shopping: she only buys things that are on sale.

“I can look super punky one day, gangster the next, and like I just rolled out of my tent at a festival the next day. I think it shows true style to be able to rock different looks and put pieces together that people wouldn’t necessarily think of, and I take pride in being able to do that.”
